> The Polar Express, Lincoln NH!  We WON the lottery and now you can too!  The Recreation Department has purchased (3) family 4-packs of tickets to the highly desired Polar Express train in Lincoln NH!  All interested Hopkinton/Contoocook households are invited to enter a drawing to become the lucky purchaser of one of these three ticket packages.  If your ticket is drawn, the purchase price is $265.  This includes 4 Premier Tickets for Saturday, December 17th, with a 4:pm boarding time.  Registrations for the drawing should be done in person at the Recreation Department, located in the Slusser Senior Center, between Monday, November 7th and Thursday, December 1st.  Calling ahead is recommended. Three winning tickets will be drawn at the Slusser Senior Center at 2:30pm on Saturday, December 3rd.  Ticket holders are welcome to attend however do not need to be present to win.  ONLY one entry per household address is allowed.  Open to Hopkinton and Contoocook residents only.

> Holiday Lights Contest!  Decorate your home for the Holidays and you could be a winner!   Call or email the Recreation Department to register your home by Thursday, December 15th.   Judging will take place by the Recreation Committee members on Friday, December 16th.  Let your lights shine!!!

> Santa Calling!  Wow, a phone call from the big-man himself!  The Recreation Department will be collecting names/phone #s of children ages 3-8 to give to Santa for the eve of Thursday, December 15th.  Registration forms are available at the Slusser Senior Center, on the Town website, or by emailing parkrec at tds.net.  Register by December 14th!

>  Gingerbread House Making Workshop!   It’s a family day Saturday, December 3rd from 11am-2pm at the Slusser Senior Center!  Come enjoy quality time building and decorating a tasty gingerbread house!  Space is limited for this event and a pre-payment of $15 is required upon registration.  Call, email, or stop in at the Recreation Department to register.  Registrations will be open Monday, Nov. 7th through Wednesday, Nov. 30th.

> Breakfast with Santa!   Santa is coming to Town Saturday, December 10th and plans to visit the Slusser Senior Center for Breakfast… AND you are invited!  Come join us in welcoming our guest of honor!  Cost is $5 for adults and $3 for children.  Don’t miss this memory making event!  EVERYONE IS WELCOME!!
