[MSS News] IMPACT Outcomes

IMPACT - the MSS Parent group met this morning at its 7:00 AM monthly scheduled meeting.  At the meeting today we discussed:

•  C.O.R.E (The MSS faculty Group) and IMPACT will be working together on two projects: One to help focus student attention on the Four B's through gathering student feedback at lunches, and the second on Developing a Winter Carnival to help build community and focus on positive climate.

•  Discussed Communication and MSS goals on this topic.  IMPACT helped to provide feedback on progress of school goals in this area.

•  Gathering feedback to help support the District Calendar Development Committee's effort to design the 2012-2013 school calendar.

•  Linking Community Assembly Information to the School website to help give parents a "view" into assembly topics. See: http://www.hopkintonschools.org/maplestreetschool/featured/november-respect-assembly/ to see an immediate example of the outcome on the MSS site.

The next meeting of IMPACT will be December 19, 2011 at 7:00 - 8:00 AM in the MSS conference room.  Please consider Joining us!
