Hello Everyone:

It was great to see the sunshine today. I hope the good weather lasts  
through the long weekend.

Thank you to everyone who has supported the Hopkinton staff with  
healthy snacks. The final all district staff meeting is Tuesday, May  
31. The final staff meeting is entitled “A Celebration,” as the  
district will honor years of service, the Susan Graham Pisinski  
Teaching Excellence Award, Support Staff Recognition Awards, and others.

If you would be willing to provide healthy snacks for the meeting, it  
would be greatly appreciated. Please contact Liz Durant (ldurant at hopkintonschools.org 
) who will coordinate the donations. (Please feel encouraged to drop  
off items at the SAU office or the high school any time on Tuesday.)

Please remember that Friday, May 27, is an early release day. The  
staff will be utilizing the time to develop curriculum, create  
assessments, and analyze data. I am sure the youngsters will enjoy the  
early start to the long weekend.

The Walking School Bus to Maple Street School is still up and running.  
Karen Mayo and I enjoy the Friday walk with youngsters. As the school  
has returned to the traditional start time, the locations and times  
are below:

Corner of Spring St. and Kearsarge Ave.: 7:25am
Corner of Pine St. and Kearsarge Ave.: 7:30am
Cedar St. (The Grange Parking Lot): 7:35am
Arriving at Maple Street School: 7:45am
