Sports Card and Memorabilia Show - THIS SATURDAY!!!!
Meet Red Sox Legend - Dennis “Oil Can” Boyd!!!!
The Hopkinton Recreation Department is hosting their 2nd Sports Card
and Memorabilia Show on Saturday, May 7 from 10am – 3pm. The show
will be held at the Hopkinton High School and admission is free.
Dennis “Oil Can” Boyd will make a special appearance between 1pm and
3pm and will sign one free autograph per person with additional
autograph $5 each! We will also have many vendors selling an array of
sports cards and memorabilia, a Silent Auction, raffle for Red Sox
tickets and food. Call 746-2915 if you have any questions.
Antiques Appraisal Day to be held May 21
On Saturday, May 21 from 10:00am -3:00pm, Hopkinton Historical Society
and Skinner Auctioneers & Appraisers will host the first annual
Antiques Appraisal Day. Similar in format to the popular PBS antiques
show, the event will feature nationally known appraisers Stephen L.
Fletcher, Sara C. Wishart, and Kathy Wong. The event is open to the
public and will be held at Hopkinton High School, 297 Park Avenue
Contoocook, N.H. The cost is $10 for one item, $20 for two items, and
$30 for three items ($25 for Hopkinton Historical Society members).
Preregistration is strongly recommended as tickets are limited, and
will be extremely limited the day of the event. Good quality
photographs may be substituted for fragile or large items. Jewelry,
coins, stamps, firearms, and musical instruments will not be appraised
at this event.

Plants Needed for Fun Fair
The Fun Fair, scheduled for Saturday, May 14 from 10:00 am-2:00 pm, is
looking for donations of plants and pots for its plant table. If you
have perennials, annuals, houseplants, and/or pots to donate, please
contact Heather Mitchell at heather_j_mitchell at yahoo.com or 746-5352.
Digging services available free of charge!
