I hope you get the opportunity to enjoy this wonderful weather. This
morning I enjoyed riding a full school bus as the sun came up. I was
reminded of how lucky I am to work in such a beautiful community.
The link below is to the near final draft of the bus routes. I will
continue to ride the routes with questions. I appreciate your patience
The Hopkinton School Board has moved their regular meetings to the
second and fourth Mondays of the month. The meetings begin at 5:30pm
and take place in the cafeteria at the Maple Street School. Please

There is no school this Friday, September 16, as it is a Professional
Development Day for staff. This day is entitled Collaboration Day. The
day is completely devoted to talking about our students: 3rd grade
teachers will talk with 4th grade teachers, 6th grade to 7th grade,
and so on. This day helps fulfill one of the mantras of the Hopkinton
School District: Know Thy Student. If you have yet to share important
information about your youngster, please feel encouraged to send an
email or note to the classroom teacher, guidance counselor, school
administrator, or superintendent. The more we know about the most
precious cargo in the world, the better.
Thank you for your support.
Steven M. Chamberlin
Superintendent of Schools
