Hello Everyone:

The turn of the calendar to June is the sharp realization that the  
school year is almost over. As everyone says, each year goes by faster  
and faster.

This email is an update on a few items:
Thank you to the community members who provided snacks for the All  
District Staff Meeting held this week. The final school district staff  
meeting is a celebration of staff and community members’ achievement  
and contribution. If you get the chance please congratulate the  
following people:
Police Chief Stephen Pecora was named the 2012 Hopkinton School  
District Champion for Children for his exceptional work with the young  
people of Hopkinton.
Second Grade Teacher Joan Follansbee and eighth grade math teacher  
Melanie Thornley received the 2012 Susan Graham Pisinski Teaching  
Excellence Award.
Harold Martin School Assistant Lori Feller and High School Assistant  
Dan Haggerty received the 2012 Support Staff Recognition Award.
The Hopkinton School Board will be meeting Monday, June 4, at Maple  
Street School, room 21, beginning at 5:30pm. This meeting will place  
Hopkinton High School’s School to Career Program and Entrepreneurship  
In Focus.  The goal is to have an open dialogue about infusing the  
spirit of entrepreneurship, so strong in the Hopkinton community, into  
our schools. Please feel encouraged to attend.
Hopkinton High School Graduation will take place on Friday, June 8, at  
the Durgin Arena in the Hopkinton Fairgrounds. This event is a  
wonderful occasion to congratulate the graduates as well as thanking  
the community for their incredible support. All are encouraged to  
attend.
Planning for the Got Lunch program continues. Please check the link

who are interested in the program.

The Hopkinton Rotary Golf Scholarship Tournament is in need of  
golfers. (The Stonebridge Golf Course requires 80.) Please consider  
participating or spreading the word. A registration form is available  
at the link below. The goal of the tournament is to raise $10,000. The  
tournament will run June 22, 2012. Registration as soon as possible  
would be appreciated.

A Bike Hopkinton Event is planned for this weekend. More information

The Contoocook Farmers’ Market will be open this Saturday. The Market  
will take place in front of and behind the train depot from 9:00am -
