Does your daughter love crafts, making friends, camping and having fun?
Do you want your daughter to learn new skills, develop confidence,
strengthen character, and provide community service while having fun?
If you answered yes to either question, check out Girl Scouts. Since
1912 Girl Scouts have provided a wholesome, fun-filled environment for
girls to learn, grow and realize their potential. Programs begin at
age 5 and continue until 17.
Adult Volunteers are always needed as well because without them there
could be no Girl Scouts. Even if you were never a Girl Scout, you can
volunteer to be a Leader, Co-leader, Troop Product Sales Manager,
Trainer or part of the Service Unit team supporting all troops in the
local area. Hopkinton now has a New Troop Mentor to help new leaders
start their journey with the girls. Please consider becoming an Adult
Volunteer and help girls and your community.
The Hopkinton New Hampshire Service Unit is welcoming interested
parents and volunteers to contact Tim Carney, Service Unit Manager, at yenract at aol.com
or by calling 603-746-6563. Girls may start in the appropriate age
program at any time. No prior Girl Scout participation is needed.
Yearly registration is $10 (Scholarships available). Troop dues are
set by each troop and range from $.25 to $2.00 per meeting.
Please come and join us in celebrating girls and helping them to reach
their highest potential.
