The Artist in Residence project with Emile Birch is in its final  
stage this spring.  We are creating a wonderful, large sculpture for  
the front of our school.  We are looking for parent volunteers in  
three important ways:

1.  We need parents to help with small groups of third grade students  
on Friday May 12, Monday, May 15, and Tuesday May 16 from 8:30-11:00  
A.M.

2.  We need parents to help with construction of the sculpture frames  
after school on May 12,15 and 16, from 3:00-5:00, but parents can  
leave earlier if necessary!  Due to safety reasons, this will be an  
adult work time without the children.

3.  We need parents to work with Jane List in the art room on the  
afternoons of May 9, 10, 11, 12 to cut out and create foam models for  
the sculpture. May 9 at Maple Street School, May 10,11 and 12 at  
Harold Martin School.
