PLACEMENT

One of the most important parts of our spring is working on your
child’s placement for the following year. I know that it seems early
but we take the process so seriously that March is not too early to
begin the timeline.

Every year I give you the option to write a letter to me about your
child that may help us in appropriately placing him or her in the
best classroom community possible. If you choose to write a letter,
the question I would like you to write on is this: What do you know
about your child that would help us in our placement process? In
addition, I would ask that you not make a specific teacher request in
this letter, or in any communication with HMS staff, including emails
or personal conversations. The strict deadline for letters is April
3, 2006. Email is preferable but “hard copy” is fine too. Thank you.

Our six-week enrichment program “Reaching For the Stars” began today.
If you have questions or concerns feel free to email:
hmsenrich at hopkintonschools.org. It will be a great time. 140 kids,
more than 40 volunteers…this is an amazing community.

Have a great weekend,

Bill Carozza, Principal
