Community News

Dear Members of the Hopkinton School Community:

Through the efforts of Darlene and Bruce Isabelle, owners of Prototek, an
18-wheeler will be heading to Mississippi on Wednesday, September 14. We are
sending this message in the hopes of collecting the following items on TUESDAY
(September 13) to be included in the shipment to the hurricane victims on
WEDNESDAY (September 14).

First Aid items - band-aids, cold medicine (bring to the office), aspirin (bring
to the office), ace bandages, etc.

Baby Items - diapers, formula, baby food

Tarps with something to secure them. Many houses and apartments have had their
roofs torn off and are exposed to the elements; people need tarps to
temporarily cover them.

Clothesline & clothespins - people are hand washing their clothes and have
nowhere to hang them to dry; they are using portions of blown away fences and
trees.

Cleaning supplies- brooms, shovels, dustpans, bleach and other cleaners,
sponges, etc.

Flashlights, batteries, bug spray

New underwear and socks as well as sanitary napkins and tampons

Large, wide buckets ? these are to be used for washing clothes and items they
are trying to salvage

Hand-sanitizer

Clothes- clean and in good condition

Visa gifts cards (deliver to the main office)

Please deliver these items to the teachers? entrance of the middle high school
(the side entrance by the staff parking lot) or to the area in front of the
trophy case in the student center. Michelle Hilton will collect these items to
bring then to the truck for the Wednesday departure.

Thank you in advance for your help and generosity.

Steve Chamberlin, Principal
